Many Abused Children hold tightly to hope that Growing up will bring them escape and a sort of freedom. However, when they grow up, they are still prisoners of their childhood. Many fail to create a new life when they face their trauma. Children that have suffered Physical, Sexual, and Emotional abuse and abandonment are left with many problems like self-care, lack of identity, and incapable of stable relationships. Their silent screams continue internally. These Kids are hopeless and have no homes or parents to turn into. They have been abused physically, sexually, and emotionally and neglected by their families, governments, etc.
Some of them are Central Americans that have been raped/escaped from the terror of gangs, and they are living in limbo in another country where they don’t belong- crying loud for help. Please, I invite you to put your hand in your heart and be a child again. Be that child that one time you were and the only thing you wanted was to be loved and cared for.
I know many of you have had that amazing experience, but some of you might not, but you found someone that made your life better. Now. It is your turn to give these kids a face, hope, emotional healing, strength, enthusiasm for life, and an amazing desire to create a new future and heal their future generations.
